For transmission these news are modulated upon high microwave frequencies. Demand for high bitrates is growing daily, especially due to additional trans- mission of television and broadcasting. The higher the frequency and the bit transmission rate especially for the radio systems are the more increase the requirements to precision of the circuit boards and to minimization of line losses.

Especially high demands are made on satellite transmission. Low loss, few space required and low weight are more demands made on most of the ceramic circuit boards.. Since regular servicing of the satellites is not  possible the reliability of its components is of decisive importance for a successful function.
