Cancer therapy requires high reliability and precision with reference to expert knowledge as well as to machines.

In tomographic treatment tumourous tissue is given radiation treatment and thus is destroyed. This radiation is produced by acceleration of electrons, which hit a target that changes the energy of the elctrons into radiation. The microwave energy is used in a cavity to accelerate elctrons. When starting and ending the pulse-like acceleration as well as by faulty adaption part of the microwave is reflected.
The transmitting valves react sensitively to reflections and have to be insulated against it.

The AFT solution: circulators, insulators, absorbers, fast power circuit breakers, AFC circuits or general passive network and distribution systems. Our products enable problem-free transport of the microwave and insulation of the transmission valve as well as precise adaption of the acceleration cavities.

Numerous other equipment uses the advantages of our thin film technology for example in the production of very small line adaptors (catheter, endoscopic equipment etc.)

NMRI - homogeneous and precise magnet systems are needed for magnetic  resonance. AFT produces the biggest circulators world-wide and because of this offers the production of homogeneous magnet systems.

We are in a position to build non-magnetic magnet systems by using our unique magnetization equipment and to magnetize them afterwards in big blocks.
