In modern radar systems for weather exploration, air traffic control and sea space supervision or military use more and more "phased array" antennas are employed. By means of electronic phase and amplitude controlled antenna elements a directed beam is fit together in the remote  field of the antenna. By variation of the phases the direction of the  beam can be changed.

The AFT solution: Circulators, insulators, controllable phase shifters and thin film circuits.

Our circulators provide clear separation of transmitting and incoming  signal in radar systems as duplexer. Controllable ferrite phase shifters allow precise adjustment of antennas also for high performance.
